My new best friend

I LOVE my new wii fit, it is awesome!!! I can't remember working out ever being so much fun and accessible. I love the free step, I can step and watch TV and it will keep track of my step and calorie burning. The kids love it too, Henry is quite the yoga master and Natalie likes to ski jump!

Happy Birthday Ariel!

You are in my thoughts and prayers EVERYDAY, not a day has passed in 19 years where I didn't feel you in my heart. I am so proud of your accomplishments. Hope your day is fabulous.

"Mommy I'm sooooo beautiful!"

This is what happened when I asked Natalie to play quietly for a bit so I could watch the inauguration. She indeed was quiet. I couldn't be mad, it was hilarious! She is quite the make-up artist, watch for her at the next Fashion Week! Bad news was it took some time and creativity to get all that off and I was afraid of hurting her eyes so that is still kinda on. She really IS like her mom, I did the same thing when I was young!

Depression

It's evil. It robs you of everything, your happiness, you desire to do the things you love, your health, your self worth. I've been struggling lately, anytime there is a break in my blogging it's a pretty good indication that the black cloud is hanging over me. I finally feel like I'm "coming back" which is how I refer to the black cloud leaving and feeling like myself again. The first indicator was that yesterday I felt hopeful for the first time in weeks. Looking forward to things to come. Afterall I am very blessed.

Our new home!!!

Well after much soul searching we did in fact make the decision to move from FH to Sherwood. As most people who know me know, it's not exactly what I wanted but in my heart knew it was the best thing for our family. The boys are doing great and love their new schools. They even knew people from nana's church so that made it easier. Both boys and Nat have also made neighborhood friends, so cute Nat has a little friend who lives 2 doors down. It is very nice to have a real neighborhood, it seemed FH had become a ghost town someone else was bailing out and selling their home nearly everyday. Letting the boys out to do normal boy things like riding bikes or skateboarding stressed me out so bad and was nearly impossible because we were surrounded by steep hills in every direction.
It is good here, it really is. Our home is beautiful and we are settling in quite nicely.
